Within the framework of HOMSEC, Enterprise Europe Network madri+d will organize, in collaboration with INTA and APTE, an international transfer technology day to exchange information between possible technological partners.

Main objective of the event is to create a meeting forum for companies, research institutes, universities and other organisations that are actively engaged within the fields of Security, Protection and Defence. Participants may provide opportunities for collaboration and business based on technology, through aimed-to-agreement bilateral meetings.

HOMSEC 2008 is the 2nd International Trade Fair Homeland Security, which will be held in Madrid from 1 to 4 December 2008, is an international point of reference in Spain specifically devoted to the application of technology for the security and protection of the national territory and society.

HOMSEC is open to manufacturing companies and product suppliers, systems and services derived from these technologies, and research organisms that develop them, whose reference sectors are:
- Protection systems for critical infrastructures.
- Systems and equipments for civil protection.
- Information and communication technologies.
- Terrestrial, naval and aerospace platforms.
- Border control.
